Guides

Updated 14 August 2026

Three guides, written to be read in order the first time. Nothing here assumes you know anything technical — if a page starts sounding like a manual, that's our mistake, not yours.

Getting started

From nothing to your first persona and your first swapped clip. About half an hour, most of it spent deciding who she is.

Designing your persona

How to build someone believable, how to change her later without breaking anything, and the mistakes that cost people their consistency.

Staying safe & within the rules

What gets flagged before you post, why, and how to fix it. Plus the things that can still identify you that a face swap won't cover.

Where we're up to. Planning, captions, the safety checks, face detection and tracking, quality scoring and the record-keeping all work today. Generating a persona's face, and replacing faces in video, now both work end to end on real footage — including several people in one clip, each given a different face, or left alone. Two things are honestly not finished: the replacement can shimmer slightly between frames, and a long video takes far longer to process than it should. We'd rather tell you that here than let you find out halfway through setting up.
